[synopsis] => Many times we experience different journeys on this faithful, spiritual walk of life. Some things we do not expect to happen, realizing or hoping everything is going according to plan. God's plan for our lives is much different from the plan that we have for our own lives. On my spiritual journey, my mother developed dementia. This is a disease that can be very hard, tiring and depressing to the caregiver. It is a disease that is known by medical scientist to attack the brain of a person. Having Dementia, will convert the individual back to their childhood stages and definitely causing, them to forget many things. They will not recognize their family, friends or anyone they once knew. Please understand that Dementia will progress into Alzheimer's disease (AD). Alzheimer's is one form of Dementia that gradually gets worse over time. It affects the memory and a behavior will develop to the point when the person will become combative. This book describes how Dementia changed my life forever. Even though, I am a Minister of the Gospel, I had to totally depend on God to get me through this process. God taught me how to balance ministry while caring for my mother at the same time. I could not understand how and why the enemy came and took total control over my mother's mind. Even though my siblings and I helped my mother care for my grandmother for fifteen years with this disease, somehow it hit me the hardest, because I had to face it one-on-one with my mother. Through my journey, 8God continually spoke to me and taught me how to war in the spirit. I pray that the revelation God gave me, will minister to your Spirit. Before our journey begins, I did some extensive research about Dementia. It is very vital to know the type of spirit an individual is dealing with before you can deal with it. An individual must have some type of research regarding any spirit before they know how to confront it. This subject will also help you to gain spiritual knowledge as well. Remember, we cannot face challenges without the help of our Lord.
